Amerisleep Mattress Review ()
From our experts
Summary
One of the most common names in the memory foam mattress world is Amerisleep. The brand is known for its popularity in an exclusive line of soft to firm bed-in-a-box mattresses. With the variety in their product’s line, mattresses that can work for anyone are found there. Thanks to the use of high-density memory foam in the comfort layer, these mattresses are able to offer a significant amount of contouring and support in a mattress that should hold up well over many years of regular use.
Certain mattresses are better for some sleepers than others, Side Sleepers are advised to use The AS1 and A2, with thinner comfort layers, though, may not be as well suited to sleepers who weigh more than average. Back Sleepers, on the other hand, can use the memory foam that is slightly firmer to prevent too much sinking of the abdomen. Finally, mattress with memory foam that is not too soft is best for stomach sleepers
Their support team is based right in Arizona and is standing by to answer any of your questions. They are one of the first companies to sell mattresses online and they also lead the way with their risk-free, 100-night trial with a refund if the product is not likable, free shipping within the USA, No sales tax (outside AZ, CO, and TX) and a 20-year warranty.

Feel & Body Support
Information for Hot Sleepers - Cooling Materials
Naturally, memory foam are infamous for inviting heat, but Amerisleep remedied that anomaly with the use of its Bio-pur® memory foam that features an open cell technology to keep heat at bay and keep the sleeper cool all night.
The Bio-pur® memory foam is breathable and wicks moisture away unlike conventional memory foams.
This same Bio-pur® is present in all mattresses including the hybrids versions.
Additionally, the soft nature of all of its first layers and the body contouring properties of same layers takes comfort to another realm.
Finally on comfort and coolness, the signature Celliant cover of Amerisleep is another unique material that promotes a cool, comfortable and healthy sleep.
Back Support Features
The Bio-pur® memory foam in all mattresses, allows the body to sink into it while it contours it perfectly. In the process it relieves back pain by easing up pressure in pressure points.
There is also a targeted zone support transition layer present in all mattresses known as HIVE® which adds extra back support and relieves back pain ultimately. It enhances alignment on the spine and back, relieves back pain and cushions your back, shoulders and neck.
Sleeping Positions
The highlight of Amerisleep comes in the distinction among sleeping types. Each mattress was designed to suit a particular sleeping type.
AS1
The AS1 was designed for back sleepers and to some extent, stomach sleepers. It’s the firmest mattress in the series.
AS2
AS2 was designed for stomach sleepers and partly for back sleepers. It’s on the medium-firm level.
AS3
AS3 is for side sleepers but since it sits at the middle in the firmness scale it can be used by all sleepers regardless of their sleeping positions.
AS4
AS4 is the second softest mattress and great for side sleepers. It’s on the medium-soft range.
AS5
AS5 is the softest mattress in the Amerisleep series. It’s on the soft side and great for side sleepers.
