Construction
Feel & Body Support
We loved the overall feel of the mattress; however, we must mention that The Original, which is the cheapest, may not be suitable for heavy individuals since it lacks features such as a breathable cover. Overall, the firmness is great and the mattress supports the entire body quite well.
Information for Hot Sleepers - Cooling Materials
Original T&N Mattress
The original T&N mattress is super soft and comfortable for every sleeper.
The addition of cooling gel that keeps heat at bay and the moisture-wicking properties of graphite in the T&N Adaptive® foam, keeps this mattress cool at all times. To further ensure that the sleeper gets all the coolness available, T&N uses an open-cell Adaptive ® foam which is breathable as well.
The Mint
The mint is a streamlined mattress featuring sheer luxury and prime comfort. Two layers of patented T&N Adaptive® foam are reserved for comfort, and with a cool knit plush cover, the night is never too hot for a good sleep.
The top layer of this mattress is an open-cell T&N Adaptive® foam bearing graphite to wick moisture away and keep things cooler.
The Hybrid
Graphite and gel beads work together to trap heat and wick moisture away making this mattress cool. To further make things more comfortable, the breathable open-cell foam and springs that are airy adds to heighten coolness and maximum comfort.
Back Support Features
The Original TN Mattress
The proprietary T&N Adaptive® foam provides pressure relief for the back, shoulders and neck. This foam is present on all T&N mattresses.
This foam is also soft and contours the body thoroughly to relief pressure in pressure points like the shoulders, back and neck.
The Mint
The presence of the proprietary T&N Adaptive® foam at the top layer with it’s soft and plushy feel, ensures your body is well contoured and pressure is relieved from the back as well as other pressure points.
The Hybrid
For the hybrid, the presence of coils also assist in pressure relief at areas prone to pressure.
This is in addition to the proprietary T&N Adaptive® foam which is soft and cuddles the body to relieve pressure from the back and other spots in the body likely to build up pressure.
Sleeping Positions
T&N didn’t specify the firmness levels of their mattresses. However, they did indicate that the Original Mattress is universally accepted and great for all sleepers. This implies that it’s on the medium-firm range of the firmness scale.
We are presuming all mattresses from T&N were made with every sleeping type in mind. This is almost a rule of thumb in the industry.
